Building & Earth Sciences, Inc. is headquartered in Birmingham, Alabama with offices in Birmingham, Auburn and Huntsville, AL; Alexandria, LA; Bentonville, AR, Columbus, and Savannah, GA; Louisville, KY; Sanford, NC; and Tulsa, OK. The firm was founded in December of 1998 by professionals who have over 80 years experience in geotechnical engineering, environmental consulting, and materials testing. We have received laboratory assessments by AMRL, CCRL, and The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. In addition, we are accredited by AASHTO for hot mix asphalt, concrete, soils and aggregates.
Building & Earth Sciences, Inc. maintains a staff of highly qualified materials engineers and technicians that keep abreast of current ASTM, AASHTO, FAA, USACE and other specifications used on airport and Corps of Engineers projects. The CMT field and laboratory technicians are NICET, CWI, ACI, and/or ALDOT certified with significant experience with FAA specifications, including P401 and P501 requirements.
