Established in 1852, our school has provided excellence in education for 150 years. We serve more than 350 deaf or hard of hearing children across the state, making us one of the major schools for the deaf in the nation.
This year, as we celebrate the 150th anniversary of formal education for deaf children in Louisiana, we are mindful of our rich heritage.
