There can be no doubt the reason for forming The Skibowski Company LC was to generate a profit, but it was formed with the goal of making a different and better kind of company. Most companies, and the people who start them, think of themselves, the company and then their clients, in that order. Putting clients last in the order of importance makes it easy to disregard their best interests. When clients are taken for granted, both employees, and owners care less about serving them well, and don’t mind if they aren’t told the truth. However, we have observed that most people want to do the right thing, and do want to make a meaningful contribution in their work, and to society. Because of these observations we decided we would build a company that would encourage and reward honestly putting the client first. We are dedicated to creating a company in which everyone can be proud and where our clients are provided with an experience they will find truly remarkable.
It is our opinion that the best way to create a company that is truly better; is to focus on, and define the values that guide the company's actions. Everything else about a company may change over time; the people, the market, the business environment, and the products purveyed. Only those ideals we establish as our company standards will have the opportunity to remain constant over time. We have coalesced those standards and ideals into what we call “Our Core Values”. We have built Our Core Values around the precepts of the “Golden Rule” with respect for the individual and honesty toward all. We are certain that Our Core Values make our company stand out now, and on into the future.
