Position: FireWall Network Security
Location: Dearborn , MI
Contract: 12 Months Renewable

MUST HAVE Network Security Support experience.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
Assess, design, configure and maintain Public Internet/Extranet and Intranet firewall services infrastructure for Siemens customer network.
Creation and version control of related documentation and diagrams.
Creation of operational reports related to PI Extranet infrastructure performance, availability, capacity, and faults.
Perform change implementation activity of customer initiated PI Extranet change requests.
Attend customer meetings as Siemens interface for change coordination activity conforming to customers IT Policy.
Provide communication on status of pending change activity.
Perform 24x7 (on-call) Level 2 & 3 support functions for the implemented PI Extranet infrastructure supported by Siemens.
EXPERIENCE/ABILITIES REQUIRED
Associate degree in related technical or IT discipline OR
Equivalent of three years experience in router / network security support role
Technical certification in Cisco or Juniper router / network security related technology
Working knowledge of Cisco (or Juniper) Firewall design and configuration
Excellent communications and facilitation skills
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of tangible and intangible variables in situations where only limited standardization exist
Ability to organize several work details and projects at the same time
Proven ability to work within a team of technical and business professionals in a multi-vendor environment
Proven ability to produce and maintain technical diagrams, reports and related documentation
Solid understanding of networking fundamentals
