POSITION DESCRIPTION
The Engineer provides engineering support in all phases of maintenance, operations, design, and modifications at Meramec Plant. Perform engineering studies to improve plant reliability, performance, efficiency, and safety. Perform field inspections, monitor operation of assigned system equipment, provide preventive maintenance recommendations, and implement various codes and standards to assure compliance with local, state, and federal government regulations. Key responsibilities include:
- Responsible for the preparation of required reports, job requisitions, work orders, and other documents; maintenance of records; and revision of drawings.
- Develop and implement computer technology to use plant facilities in the most cost-effective manner.
- Interact with vendors and other groups within the company.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Education
Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited college or university.
Experience
Three years of work experience in an engineering field preferred.
Other
Good analytical, human relations and communication skills.
