We have been delivering innovative solutions to complex problems since 1919 and are currently looking for an experienced, senior-level Remediation Engineer/Project Manager for our Irvine, California, office.
Your challenges may include activities such as: developing work plans for site delineation, pilot testing of remedial alternatives, conducting and documenting remedial action feasibility studies, preparing remedial action plans, developing the design of remediation components and/or systems, preparing bid specifications and evaluating contractor bids, follow through during construction and operations of the designed treatment technology, monitoring and evaluation of treatment effectiveness, regulatory reporting and negotiations for closure, and project management for all of the above. Travel required on a limited basis to treatment sites and to support efforts of other company offices as workloads demand.

The successful candidate will have experience in the application of a variety of remedial technologies such as SVE, Air Sparging, DPE, bioremediation, In-Situ Chemical Oxidation (petroleum and halogenated hydrocarbons and chlorinated solvents), groundwater extraction and treatment, dig and haul, waste disposal/waste characterization including detailed understanding of a variety of remediation technologies for soils and groundwater, and familiarity with construction techniques for remedial activities.
BS/MS in Civil, Chemical, Mechanical or Environmental Engineering and professional registration (PE) required, as well as excellent written and oral communication skills and experience with typical computer software.
Prior experience working on projects overseen by local regulatory agencies is desirable. (12+ years of consulting experience, both office and field)
Business development and client service management experience is a definite plus.
