DIRECTOR OF TRANSMISSION STRATEGY
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering required, MBA (or equivalent) preferred. Minimum 10 years experience with transmission planning, project finance, utility/power projects, manufacturing and/or construction industry.
SR POWER PLANT ENGINEER Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering . CA Professional Engineer registration is preferred. Experience in steam power plant design and construction (steam turbines, vessels, piping, valves, control systems, equipment and piping supports, electrical equipment and systems) Experience in developing specifications for engineering, procurement and construction contracts. Knowledge of relevant codes and practices The following specialist experience would be highly regarded: steam generation, EPC construction
FIELD OPTICS RESEARCHER
Run ray-trace simulations of field-optics using NREL Sol-Trace and MATLAB. Compile and analyze simulation results; use simulation results to optimize field-optics design with respect to various output parameters. Make innovative contributions to field-optics design. Initiate new designs, supported with modeling and optimization. Make modifications to current MATLAB code and develop new MATLAB code.
SR MECHANICAL ENGINEER
Specify, design and optimize key components in the solar field to drive down cost, improve performance and deliver safety and longevity. Develop new ideas with a rigorous design, analysis and testing methodology. Degree in Civil/Structural or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent). At least 8 years of mechanical design experience. Professional Engineer certification in California is a big plus. Familiarity with SolidWorks a plus.
