Job Description:

We are conducting a search for a manufacturing client, fabricators of industrial steel products, including crane related parts. This is a small division (150 people) of a Fortune 500 corporation, ergo, providing the financial security of a large company with a small company ambiance. This is a well managed and stable institution and is the leader in its industry. Best of all, it is located in a small community, with minimal traffic, and it is next to a wild preserve. A great place to raise a family.

Duties:

The position is an exciting one. The qualified candidate will spend around 2/3 of his/her time working on special orders from customers; this will include Autocad modeling and performing stress calculations using FEA tools. The rest of the of time will be working primarily on product development projects with a small amount of time spent on providing sales support. Travel should be no more than 10%.

Qualifications:


BS degree Mechanical Engineering.
5+ years of experience that includes extensive Autocad Mechanical and stress calculation (e.g. FEA tools) knowledge & experience.
Extensive experience with power-trains/motor-drives.
Ability to interact and communicate clearly to customers.
Experience with overhead cranes and/or gantries is a major plus.
Ability to travel up to 10%.
Salary:

Pay is up to 75k per year with an excellent benefits package and the company will provide relocation assistance for the right candidate.
