A southwestern Ohio company specializing in lean manufacturing and automated system solutions seeks an Application Engineer.
Duties:
Interpret customer requirements
Identify technical and commercial risk
Develop concept
Estimate cost
Document proposal
Customer presentation
Follow-up to close
Engineering kick-off
Budget management
Requirements:
A BS in Mechanical Engineering is preferred and/or significant experience quoting, concepting, and designing automation systems.
At least 2-3 years experience in working with customers and determining their requirements, documenting proposals, customer presentations, identifying risk.
Experience with an automation systems, manufacturing environment.
Travel to customer sites will be required.
