Duties:
CACI has an upcoming requirement for an Aegis Combat Systems Functional Analyst to support an upcoming proposal for the Air Dominance Engineering Support Services Contract for NSWC PHD Air Dominance Department. The scope of the work includes providing engineering services to analyze design specifications, computer program changes to the combat system C&L manuals. Thorough analysis of design specifications, individual platform operational references, current tactical guidance, and known or anticipated computer program problems the individual will develop operational capabilities, limitations, and trade-offs for Aegis and participating units in support of the ISEA. The capabilities and limitations efforts will include the successful implementation of Aegis Open Architecture CG/DDG Modernization. The individual(s) selected will provide technical writing support for the development and maintenance of the Strike Group (SG), Interoperability and Aegis Combat System Capabilities and Limitations (C&L) manuals for the U.S., Allied Nations, and Foreign Military Sales customers.

Required Qualifications:
Must have a current DoD SECRET Security Clearance to qualify.

The successful candidate must have demonstrated knowledge of the Aegis Combat Systems Capabilities and Limitation Manual Processes, Tools and Techniques, Joint data link C&L documents, interoperability issues, Aegis computer programs and associated upgrades to components, Strike Group C&L manuals, engineering and computer programming development of graphics, flow diagrams, and system level drawings. Experience in the conduct research on current industry or Navy wide web based products, web based attributes and web interfaces that potentially can be used to satisfy C&L requirements, web-based applications, that support development of C&L front end interfaces.

Requires Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Physics or related field or equivalent and two to four years of related weapons system maintenance experience. Equivalency for this position is one or more technical schools for one of the above systems, plus 3 years of related experience.

Must be skilled with PCs, MS Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.

Travel estimated at <25%.

Desired Qualifications:
Incumbent on current Air Dominance Contract a plus, experience with Java script and Visual Basic and various web design tools such as Microsoft Front Page. Development experience with graphics presentations in PowerPoint or Corel Draw for use in team planning meetings. Liaison experience with Joint Forces Command (JFCOM) organization in facilitating support for Joint C&L development.
