TITLE: Strategic Global Sourcing Business Partner

The company is aggressively building its business model to meet significant client demand and market opportunities for very large, global, complex, cross-functional sourcing engagements. The Strategic Global Sourcing Group is collaboratively responsible for the successful pursuit of these engagements and they generate and manage large outsourcing deals and opportunities greater than $50M (Total Contract Value - TCV) for the entire company and group of companies.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Work as part of a large deal pursuit team that will lead large deal sales campaigns across all industry verticals for the company.
• Drive new business revenues from targeted, large accounts for the company.
• Work closely with company leadership to create market penetration strategies for targeted accounts.
• Pro-actively identify and qualify opportunities.
• Architect a pursuit’s overall strategic approach and orchestrate the tactical execution, this includes building on the relationship, creating the business case and structuring the deal
• Involvement in all aspects of the opportunity’s life-cycle, from identification to closure
• Develop and structure long term (multi-year) solutions for clients
• Must earn credibility internally and demonstrate it externally while the entire team works together to meet success.
• Leverage personal network to identify and pursue business development opportunities.
• Form relationships with sourcing advisors
• Create value propositions and differentiated materials that highlight the company’s competitive advantage
• Form peer relationships with client personnel at the VP level, and working relationships with CXOs. Maintain and coordinate an effective partnership with the client through senior executive contacts and with those who influence the decision-makers.
• Manage proposal pricing, negotiations and closure technical solutions for specific client opportunities. Work with the pre-sales function to craft a suitable and compelling proposal for the client.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• 15+ years of professional services sales experience
• Large deal experience, including winning and transitioning the deal to delivery, understanding the dynamics of a large deal and managing the well associated pressure and intensity
• Strong Program Management capabilities - ability to thrive in a highly matrixed organization
• Solid understanding of ITO, BPO, Applications, Infrastructure Management
• Ability to engage the client at various levels in the organization
• Strong collaborative, interpersonal and leadership skills
• Experience in business development, selling and delivering software and services based solutions
• Global Delivery Model/offshoring experience
• Ability to develop customer sponsors; identify influencers and decision makers; create and present the company’s solutions and proposals.
• Ability to map the company’s solutions/capabilities to solve specific customer issues
• Strong analytical skills
• Must be able to work in a team environment
• Up to 50% travel will be required
COMPENSATION:
Competitive base salary + bonus
