FrontierMEDEX is an international company providing medical support services to clients operating in remote or hazardous environments worldwide, both on and offshore.

Job Description: ELG FZE on behalf of FrontierMEDEX are currently inviting applications from suitably qualified and experienced US registered Physicians to provide medical and welfare support to site personnel supporting large scale US government contracts in Iraq.

Opportunities are available on a long term back to back basis or one off placement to provide primary healthcare, emergency and trauma response to site personnel.
Duties include delivering medical update training and supervising a multi-disciplined medical team, management of medical evacuations and procurement of medical stores. The successful candidate will also be responsible for interacting with Frontier Medicals client in relation to all project management and site issues.

Project Requirements:

- Previous international experience is preferred but not mandatory
- Experience of working in the military or on expeditions may be beneficial
- Current knowledge of the Tactical Combat Care Course would be beneficial
- Minimum of eight years' post qualification experience, specifically focused within an
Emergency Room environment
- Current US medical registration
- US Citizen
- Good levels of health and fitness
- Computer literate
