JOB SUMMARY:
This position will perform functional analysis, requirements definition, system configuration, technical design, system testing, system documentation, and training for SAP application. Works closely with system Users and develops a thorough understanding of business processes and information flows and transforms these requirements into technical solutions. This position will lead and work on specific projects and provide day to day support of SAP systems and other applications. This position will work closely with functional and technical teams to support existing solutions and develop new ones. Must have expertise in the areas of SAP Logistical Systems.
Duties and Responsibilities
" Responsible for supporting SAP functional systems by responding to user requests, performing system configuration, staging test scenarios, documenting changes, developing technical designs, and training others as required.
" Responsible for leading and participating on major projects by identifying tasks, creating work plans, assigning responsibilities, tracking results, and other activities using solid project management skills.
" Responsible for understanding how the business uses the software systems and makes recommendations for improving processes and overall use.
" Conducts review meetings and presentations to communicate project progress, business and system issues, and overall project status.
" Develops technical specifications and procedures and communicates directly with development teams to explain work tasks and collaborate on overall solution.
" Oversees work tasks of technical teams and validates process results.
" Creates test scenarios and validation results for customizations are required.
" Performs discovery and research work as required using SAP Notes and other means when investigating issues, questions, or new information that may be appropriate to solve a business request or technical problem.
Qualifications
Education: 4 year degree is preferred but not required.
Experience: Minimum 3 years working with SAP including configuration and full life cycle implementation in specific discipline(s) as outlined below is required.
