Position Description:
Under minimal supervision, this position will be responsible for ensuring that all SAP sales and distribution data is accurate and up to date. This position is also responsible for auditing of this data to ensure that only authorized personnel have access to change the data. This position is responsible for the compliance with procedures and regulations, continuous improvement in efficiency, productivity, and quality by providing guidance, training and leadership on a daily basis.
Specific management responsibilities:
o Manages the team of SAP data analysts and administrators.
o Develops standardized data load request forms.
o Assumes ownership and responsibility for data accuracy of all customer master, vendor master, customer/material, pricing, material determination, and EDI support records.
o Develops and implements improved and streamlined procedures to facilitate order to cash processes.
o Work with other department managers to ensure communication lines are maintained to customers, field, and Operations personnel.
o Provides direction for training and skill development plans for all employees in department.
o Develop personnel; conduct performance reviews and corrective actions when necessary.
Specific analytical/problem-solving responsibilities:
o Conducts regular audit of master files to identify discrepancies and data inconsistencies.
o Supports SOX compliance through reporting of master record change history.
o Support the integration of new companies into Inverness Medical by analyzing, cleaning, and comparing legacy company ERP data with existing SAP data to ensure accurate and complete data loads.
o Analyze, develop, revise, and recommend processes and procedures to achieve continuous improvement.
o Identify, research, and solve non-standard technical, regulatory, and data quality problems through a solid understanding of policies and procedures and using problem analysis techniques.
o Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
