Expertise Limited, Bermuda's leading recruiter, is currently seeking a Underwriter (Executive Risk) who is interested in relocating to sunny/income-tax friendly BERMUDA.
The successful applicant will be responsible for driving business production, relationship building and renewal of existing business with broker(s). The successful applicant will have technical skills to support the Specialty Lines underwriting, business development capabilities, strong presentation skills, a service oriented outlook and the ability to meet / exceed established business generation targets while maintaining underwriting guidelines. Additional responsibilities will include producer planning (including growth and profitability targets), broker product education/development and marketing initiatives for assigned portfolio.
Requirements for succssful candidates:
• Possess the necessary technical skills to support Specialty Lines underwriting
• Possess a business development & target driven sensibility
• Demonstrate a range of negotiation techniques and established interpersonal skills with both internal and external customers
• Demonstrate financial analysis skills. The preferred candidate will have a minimum of five years D&O and EPL underwriting experience. |
