Pay Rate: $40-50K DOE
Description of Position:
Responsible for all activities at the branch including but not limited to management, training, security, operations and membership services. Promotes Credit Union products and services through business development activities. Exercises lending and cashing limits as approved.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for strategically planning the branch staff to attain annual goals
On call 24 hours/7 days a week
Oversees branch personnel cross-training, product knowledge and career development/pathing
Responsible for the implementation and enforcement of internal control and security measures in accordance with Credit Union policy and government regulations
Accountable for the coordination and authorization of work schedules including sick leave, vacation, miscellaneous leave, overtime. Reviews and approves time sheets.
Assures all 'dual control' procedures are adhered to on a regular basis
Responsible for the timely submission of employee performance evaluations. Recommends promotions, disciplinary actions, discharges and other personnel related activities.
Exercises independent judgment when handling employee problems and concerns
Maintains working knowledge of all loans to include, but not limited to, mortgage, business and consumer
Knowledgeable of all operational functions (i.e. compliance, procedures and policies)
Guides and directs branch management team to ensure cohesiveness and effective leadership
Assures branch cash/negotiable items are maintained within the assigned limits
Services existing Select Employee Groups (SEGS) and schools within assigned district
Creates and promotes positive name recognition for the Credit Union
Harnesses business opportunities
Reviews, approves and is responsible for the timely submission of all branch reports
Aware of all branch functions and personnel duties to ensure proper support and coverage is provided at all times
Responsible for the branches income, expense and profitability
Exercises lending authority to process all loans to include but not limited to consumer, business and mortgage type loans
Serves as a Notary Public
Provides Medallion Signature Guarantee services to the membership
Performs other duties as assigned
Required Skills
Five years experience at a financial organization with at least three years in a supervisory capacity
