Provides in-depth consulting to DP management and staffs at the highest technical level in the identification and resolution of the overall operating system(s) software problems or difficulties. Analyzes existing product software and recommends modifications which will enhance operating capacity and meet business requirements. Provides guidance and assistance to the staff in the installation and testing of new operating system releases and in fine tuning of existing systems software. Keeps abreast of new hardware and software developments, evaluates alternative approaches and recommends new software or modifications which enhance operations and development activities. Consults with DP staff and clients to determine the impact of new or revised applications on existing software. Performs related duties as assigned or requested.

We are looking for an experienced Systems Analyst in the area of web and e-commerce application/infrastructure support.
In this role, you will work with application developers and peers to:
-Integrate Java and .NET applications into eCommerce environment.
-Troubleshoot and analyze application and infrastructure issues.
-Continuously improve technology and process to insure a highly available and secure eCommerce environment for applications.
You will also:
-Consult with business analysts and users regarding the nature of information processing and clarification of business requirements.
-Work with peer group and management team to develop, document and revise systems design procedures as needed to ensure agreement on the hosting services.
-Participate in systems analysis as needed for production support issues and bug fixes.
-Act as key technical resource to development and testing staff in all phases of the development, testing and implementation process.

We’re looking for an individual who will make a difference in our organization and possesses the following qualifications:
-Fluent in Japanese
-Strong experience with Java/WebSphere software.
-Strong experience with Unix command language.
-Familiarity with Windows and .NET
-Familiarity with distributed enterprise application design and development.
-Software development lifecycle methodology experience.
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
-Experience in the Financial Services industry is a plus.
