Summary:
Senior Citrix CSP Engineer for a new Cloud Computing services provider. The Senior Citrix CSP Engineer reports to the CTO and is responsible for helping establish the company’s technical vision and leading projects to further the company’s technology development. The Senior Citrix CSP Engineer is a management position, playing an integral role in the company’s strategic direction, development, and future growth.
Primary Responsibilities
• Help architect and manage High Availability, High Security, High Performance Citrix Multi-Tenant Virtualization platform for a hosted application delivery service
• Lead engineering and support teams, as well as build and manage the Citrix Multi-Tenant virtualization platform with the primary directives to
• Delight Customers
• Satisfy 99.999% availability SLA’s
• Satisfy internal strategic & financial objectives
• Lead the execution of technology strategy for technology platforms, partnerships, and external relationships
• Build and manage a top-flight technology team and oversee research and development, as well as project management
• Provide visible leadership for the company within the technology community
• Anticipate and react to major technology changes to ensure the maintenance of company leadership in the competitive landscape
• Establish technical standards and ensure adherence to them for product development and company operations.
Requirements
• Citrix Certified CCEA for XenApp, XenServer, XenDesktop, Netscaler & Access Gateway
• Microsoft Certified Engineer with strong knowledge of exchange, active directory and multi tenancy (MCSE, MCITP, MCDST, MCTS, MCSA preferred)
• Networking expert well experienced in creating and managing multiple physical & virtual networks
• Proven expertise in application and server virtualization DaaS, IaaS, RaaS, CaaS
• Demonstrated ability to interpret technology and market trends as a foundation for technology and product roadmaps
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• At least 7 years in Systems engineering, with 5 in a management position
• BS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science required, MBA preferred.
