Summary of Position Requirements:
The Siebel Manager is responsible for the setup, maintenance, troubleshooting, and training for clients Option Management system. This position handles all the communications of Siebel objectives and procedures as well as coordinating necessary training with the local Sales Teams.
The Siebel Manager is responsible for coordinating Options Management and Buyer Preference by working closely with the Regional Operations Center (ROC). The Siebel Manager is also responsible for the publication and distribution of the Quarterly Newsletter which lists all changes that affect specifications, vendor assignment, buyer preference, and construction practices.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
• Oversee the implementation of Siebel software and system improvements.
• Set up New Communities in Siebel in coordination with the New Community Timeline.
• Download JD Edwards data into Siebel to include: assign User Access, assign Media Codes and Loans, Contract Assignments, attach Preferences for each Option, and Follow up with Design Studio/ NHC as needed on all new communities.
• Support local divisions as the liaison between Siebel Technical Support and New Home Consultants (NHCs) in situations where a problem has developed requiring someone with more advanced technical skills to interface with Siebel.
• Assist NHCs, Designers, and Sales / Starts Coordinators in processing Change Orders necessary to start a home through the ROC.
• Provide on-site assistance for Sales associates after training.
• Supervise the publication of the Quarterly Newsletter. Coordinate the data input of plans and options into JDE as needed.
Qualifications:
Education and Experience Requirement:
• Computer literate with the ability to work with JD Edwards, Siebel, and Windows.
• Understanding of residential construction and architectural design.
• 1 year of residential construction/architectural experience preferred.
• Associate Degree or related experience.
• Detail-oriented and able to influence the actions of others through effective communication
• Good writing and organization skills.
• Team Player with ability to work well under pressure.
