Job Description
GENERAL SUMMARY This position provides vision, leadership, planning, project coordination, and management in a manufacturing HR setting. Additionally, the position is responsible for all human resources related duties such as employee relations, hourly production employment, labor law compliance, policy creation and interpretation, and safety initiatives. This is a working HR Manager position and will require hands on HR activities at both the tactical and strategic level. Will provide main HR support to a manufacturing group.
Required Skills
Qualified candidate should have the following: •Masters degree strongly preferred and minimum of 5 yrs experience in HR. Large organization experience strongly preferred. or •Bachelor's degree and 7+ years of experience in HR field •Manufacturing HR experience •Knowledge and experience in employment law/compliance •Knowledge and experience in team member relations, policy administration, and leave administration •Performance management experience •Non-union environment experience •Investigation management experience •Experience using HRIS and attendance systems •Experience working with a contingent contract/temp workforce •Automotive experience preferred •PHR or SPHR a plus •Hourly compensation also a plus
