Currently we are recruiting for a Specialist Urologist for a leading regional Hospital providing Urology services to the entire area.
You will be part of a surgical team and well supported by General Surgeons.
The department will be yours to take ownership of including overseeing the purchase of new equipment. There is immense scope to develop and maintain collegial relationships regionally.
This is an exiting opportunity to make your individual mark on this role and to become well known in the local community.
The location is close to lakes, mountains, forests, rivers and the sea affords superior lifestyle and recreational opportunities including rock climbing, hiking, bush walks, kayaking, boating, river rafting, golfing and more.
There are also at least four ski fields within 1 - 2 hours drive.
The District has a temperate climate with consistently high sunshine hours.

The successful applicant must be eligible for registration in New Zealand as a Medical Specialist and have formal training in Urology.
