| My current ambition is to find suitable employment in lecturing or as well as a coordinating role where my skills and abilities will be utilized. This means giving my best in service that will generate growth, high standards and success. Due to my professionalism and quality service, I am keen of investing in the development of learners.
I am capable of performing to a high standard by working on my own or as part of a team, because I enjoy working with people. Part of my strengths includes good management skills, knowledge of my specialist area, dedication to my work, good communication and administrative skills, as well as the ability to build good rapport with learners.
My qualifications, as shown, provide me with the relevant knowledge of the Travel & Tourism (T & T) industry and the Hospitality sector. I have executed most of these roles during both training and in practice. For example, whilst training at Basingstoke College of Technology, I was responsible for teaching learners a new unit (Hospitality Operations) which no other current staff was able to do. As a result, I was responsible for arranging both on and off site industry visits, as well as teaching the course from start to finish. Also, whilst working in colleges, I lecturer on a range of BTEC Travel & Tourism (T&T) courses, as well as NCFE; for instance, Customer Service for T&T, Tour Operations, Business for Travel & Tourism, Hospitality Operations, Special Interest Tourism, Marketing for T & T, and Airline Cabin Crew. I also led and supported a group of tutors whilst working as a ‘Curriculum Team Leader’. Overall, these demonstrate some of my knowledge, ability, and skills.
In addition to the above, as you can see, my qualifications, experiences, skills/ competences makes me eligible to perform well in the educational arena. Therefore, I will humbly say that I am capable of fulfilling any suitable role, if I am given the opportunity; this I will execute in a professional manner.
