I am an experienced high tech executive with large company and startup experience. I have held a broad range of P&L and operations management responsibilities including new product development, technology venture projects, manufacturing, and quality. My educational background is in electrical engineering (MSEE) and I have performed consulting work in the technology transfer arena. My career at Motorola provided me with a strong background in six sigma quality, lean manufacturing, and design for manufacturability. I directed operations at multiple worldwide locations and brought many new products to commercial success. Coupling this with my recent life sciences work at Nanogen and Accumetrics, I believe that my technical and managerial credentials are well aligned with the needs of growth and improvement-oriented enterprises.
