| I am seeking a scientific position within a biological laboratory. I am very interested in cellular biology, microbiology, virology, pathology, clinical research, zoology, diagnostics and toxicology. I have a B/Science (biology major) degree which was completed in Australia in 2007. I have five university years of laboratory experience, and an additional year of voluntary work within the University of Newcastle Amphibian Laboratory. For this year I was assigned as a laboratory assistant. I was responsible for conducting DNA extractions, running real-time PCRs and the maintenance and manipulation of fungal cultures. I was also responsible for sustaining the upkeep of the laboratory. I have basic spoken Japanese and am proficient with computer utilization. | |
