I am a former Assistant Professor in Marketing, from Romania - Eastern Europe. After working for a decade in higher-education, i crave for changing the scene and scenary, by experiencing the american way. As I do not like formal “covering” letter, I’ll unfold the reasons for my strong wish of obtaining a practical american job: - Working in the American business environment, learning about it, in the most practical way - by exercising it. There is a major curiosity and also a challenge to practice what i preached in about a decade of teaching marketing and associate subjects. - Tasting the American way: from language improvement to every day life aspects, and most of all: breathing the American subtle air of freedom...is it true that sky is the limit? - A pragmatic objective also: gaining some money during the process – yes, money is not all but it is a necessity , and a pre-requisite for floating in higher realms of self-development I would also like to stress the fact that during my decade of teaching marketing I have developed strong skills in two main areas: - Responsibility, seriousness, ability to learn and adapt - Communication skills, creativity, customer-oriented attitude And I have come to the conclusion that it's time to use them in more practical areas. Hence, my application to you ... I do hope you read between the cold lines of a CV and see the human behind them. As hard as this applying for a job in US would be for me, a romanian citizen, I will always remember the words of G.B.Shaw: "Where there is a will , there is a way." In the end, these are my motives, unembellished and uncovered, hoping for you to understand that basically, I just want to work and live in a different environment that I’ve been in until now.
