With my strong quantitative background engineering and interest in business analysis, I am very interested in combining these skills to a engineering position allowing for growth in to management. I have experience in developing cross-functional relationships between funding infrastructures and financial analysts, end-users, and manufacturing engineers. I wish to understand customer needs and identify solutions to maximize efficiency and lower operating costs to increase customer value. I believe that my engineering and business education as well as my environmental employment background are appropriate for these positions. While working as a research and development engineer at the National Center for Physical Acoustics, I developed ideas to generate environmental research funding from USDA agencies and controlled these projects throughout their entire life cycle. To this end, I compiled industry analysis to assess the possibilities of market penetration with our technology and knowledge assets. Upon acquiring funding, I served as a project manager to fulfill design and financial objectives before the prototypes go to market. I have also managed undergraduate research in laboratory and field settings in the implementation of the prototypes. Each of these roles demonstrates both my professional flexibility and an aptitude for learning new and different tasks.
